I started playing guitar at the age of 15 and then formed my first band, 'Sand', when I was 17 in 1997. In 1998 I started an ND in Music Technology at Bradford College. In 1999 'Sand' split up which led me to start playing Bass guitar for the band 'Braid'.
In 2000 I moved into the Halls of Residence at Doncaster College where I started my HND in Music Technology. In 2002 'Braid', with a direction change, became 'We Are Thieves'. Also at this time and with the same members we would form a covers only side band called 'Walk In My Shadow'.
After completing my HND in 2002 I moved to Leeds where I started my Degree in Music Production at Leeds College of Music, I would drop out of this course towards the end of my first year due to becoming increasingly disenchanted with College.
In late 2003 I quit playing Bass for 'We Are Thieves', and by default 'Walk In My Shadow', to concentrate on playing guitar and writing my own material. Some of the years that followed were both a disaster personally and stagnant musically until 2008 when I started recording my first album of material which led to the formation of 'Counts Of The Netherworld' and to the re-kindling of old friendships.
In January of 2010 I started playing bass guitar and gigging once again in a covers band.
In April 2010 I was asked to play bass guitar for already established band 'Black Feathered Feet' to which I said yes. Though in June 2010 Black Feathered Feet dissapointingly split up before my arrival which has led me to play Bass for newly started band Yo El Rey with some of the members of Black Feathered Feet.
