The Mission

To petition Channel 4 to have Richard Dawkins host this years 'Alternative Christmas Message'.

Why?

Channel 4's traditional counterpoint to the Queen's Christmas Day 3pm broadcast has in the past presented us with celebrities such as Quentin Crisp, the Reverend Jesse Jackson, Doreen and Neville Lawrence, Ali G, Sharon Osbourne and The Simpsons. Chosen either for their commercial popularity or controversiality. Whilst they have all been fine I just think Richard Dawkins would have something more to say.

Now is the time for Atheists, Scientists and Secular Humanists everywhere to have their say and let this be a truly alternative Christmas Message. One that is as enlightening, entertaining and conscious raising, as it is thought provoking. A true alternative.
